Mums & Dads

Before starting to breed Norwegians or 'Wegies' as they are affectionately known, I was fortunate to have help and guidance from a wonderful mentor who taught me about all the characteristics and genetics we all want to see in a perfect cat as well as those we do not wish to see.

I have been very fortunate with my breeding queens and been rewarded with beautiful kittens from some carefully researched matings.

I currently have four beautiful breeding queens and one stud boy.

Queens

Forestfriend Firebird

TICA Triple Grand Champion

Ellie as she is known to her friends is a Tortie Black Smoke with White and was the first tortie I had ever bred due to never really taking to the colouring of them, but after looking after a friends tortie litter whilst she was on holiday I was smitten and I am now a slave to three of them!!!

Ellie is a fantastic Mum who always keeps me hanging on past her due date, she always hangs onto them for a couple of extra days!!

Forestfriend Poppy

Parents. Nandinakatts Pete Rabbit & Forestfriend Buffy

Poppy was born on Armistice day (hence the name) along with her sisters Dame Vera, Gracie and Annie, (names of female entertainers during wartime).

Many, many thanks to Clara and Nandinakatts Emma Swan for all the help in fostering these four babies despite having six of your own. Poppy is a Blue Tortie smoke with white who had a little girl earlier this year and was a great Mum.

Forestfriend Gracie

Gracie is a home bred stunning blue silver tabby with white cat.

She is one of my Armistice Day 2020 litter born to mum Forestfriend Buffy and Nandinakatts Pete Rabbit.

Gracie has come into call throughout 2022 but I chose not to breed from her at that time believing that kittens should not go to their forever homes immediately before Christmas.  I expect to mate Gracie in late 2022 or early 2023 with kittens due a couple of months later.

Forestfriend Curliwurli Katy

Katy is a home bred stunning tortie silver tabby cat.

She is one of my spring 2021 litters born to mum Ellie and CH Old Possum's Tummel JW.

Katy had her first litter in the summer of 2022 and has proved to be a very caring mum.  She coped admirably with very young kittens in the heatwaves and has bought up some grounded babies ready for their new forever homes.

Stud Boy

Nandinakatts Pete Rabbit

TICA Grand Champion

TICA Regional Winner 2020

BiBi to his friends is a handsome blue and white stud boy cat and daddy to many of my litters over the years.

BiBi has excellent breeding lines and fantastic loving, and laid back personality.

Many thanks to Nandinakatts for this beautiful handsome boy.
